Every business has a beginning. Our journey with international Odia snacks started with a simple local delivery and has now taken us all the way to our first international order in Texas, USA. We delivered within the city and gradually built relationships with customers around us. As more people discovered our products, those local deliveries slowly became orders from different parts of Odisha. Then came another milestone: customers from different states across India began ordering from us. And recently, something happened that made us realise just how far our journey had come. We received our first international order. A customer from Texas, USA, ordered authentic products from our website, and on September 3, 2026, the package was successfully delivered. For a small business that started with local deliveries, seeing an order travel from Berhampur to Texas was an unforgettable moment. Where It All Started: Local Deliveries When we started, our world was much smaller. Our focus was on customers in and around our local area. We packed orders, arranged deliveries and slowly learned what customers expected from us. Every local order taught us something. We learned how to pack products properly, how to handle different types of snacks, how to communicate with customers and, most importantly, how much people value authentic regional food. These early orders gave us the confidence to keep growing. From the City to Different Parts of Odisha As more customers became familiar with Snacks of Berhampur, orders started coming from outside our immediate locality. What began as local delivery gradually expanded to different parts of Odisha. This was an important step because it showed us that people wanted access to traditional products even when they were not close to the place where those products originated. We improved our packaging and shipping processes as our delivery network expanded. What once seemed like a long-distance order gradually became part of our everyday business. And Then Came Our First International Order After serving customers across India, we received an order from Texas, USA. It was exciting, but it also presented a completely different set of challenges. Shipping a food order internationally is very different from delivering it within India. We had several questions to answer before sending the parcel. Would the products be permitted for shipment? Which courier partner would be reliable? Would our existing packaging be strong enough? How should we protect the products during a much longer journey? What documentation would be required? Our first international Odia snacks order became a learning experience from the very beginning. Finding the Right International Courier Partner One of our first challenges was finding a suitable courier partner. International shipments involve longer distances, multiple stages of handling and additional shipping requirements. We had to understand different options and find a solution that could handle a food shipment from Odisha to the United States. This process took time, but it helped us understand international logistics much better. But seeing the final delivery confirmation was something else entirely. A parcel that began its journey in Berhampur had travelled all the way to Texas. For us, that was not just a successful delivery. It was a milestone.
